AI Transparency Notice
Growing Bright Minds Last updated: March 2026
1. Our Commitment to Transparency
Growing Bright Minds uses artificial intelligence tools to assist with platform operations. This notice explains how AI is used, what it does and does not do, and what this means for you.
2. Where AI Is Used
2.1 Content creation (operator-side)
AI language models assist the operator in:
- Drafting article content — AI produces initial drafts based on topic briefs provided by the operator
- Topic and keyword research — AI agents scan external sources to surface relevant topics parents and educators are discussing
- SEO analysis — AI reviews content to assess quality and discoverability before publication
- Content refresh — AI identifies published articles that may benefit from updates and generates revision suggestions
- Event discovery — AI scans external sources to surface relevant events for potential inclusion in the platform
Important: All AI outputs are suggestions only. The operator reviews and approves every piece of content before it appears on the platform. Nothing is auto-published.
2.2 Site search assistant ("How can I help?")
The chat widget on the platform is powered by an AI language model. It is designed to help you find relevant articles and content on the site. Conversations with this assistant are not stored against your user profile and are not used to train AI models.
3. Which AI Systems Are Used
| System | Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| GPT-4o | OpenAI (US) | Content drafting, SEO analysis, topic discovery, event discovery, content refresh |
| Claude (Anthropic) | Anthropic (US) | Site search assistant |
4. What AI Does NOT Do
- AI does not make automated decisions about users
- AI does not profile individual users based on their behaviour
- AI does not have access to your personal data (email, account details, comments)
- AI-generated content is never published without human review and approval
- AI agents operate on editorial and operational data only — not on user personal data
5. Human Oversight
The operator, maintains full editorial control over all content published on this platform. The role of AI is to assist — never to replace human judgement. Every published article reflects the operator's review and editorial decision.
6. Data and AI
User behavioural analytics (via PostHog and GA4, with your consent) may be used by the operator to inform editorial priorities — for example, identifying which topics attract the most engagement. This is a human-led process. No automated profiling of individual users occurs.
