Dash into art time! Daisy hurried to the preschool classroom and found a table full of paper, brushes, and bright paint pots.

“Today we paint our garden pictures!” said the teacher. Daisy smiled and picked up one pot, then another, and another.

Oops! The pots bumped together. Blue rolled one way, yellow rolled another, and Daisy gasped, “Oh no, I mixed them up!”

Daisy looked at the mess. Her ears drooped a little, but she took a breath and said, “I need help, please.”

Milo came over first. “I can help,” he said. “Let’s sort the colors together.”

“Thank you,” said Daisy. “You are a kind friend.” Together they lined up the pots and read the labels slowly. A purple pot sat beside the bright colors, ready to be put in its place.

Then a second mix-up popped up. Yellow had slipped into the red spot, and the picture cards on the table looked mixed up.

Daisy asked again, “Can you help me check?” Her friends nodded. “Yes, Daisy!” they said.

One by one, they matched each lid to its pot. “Blue here,” said one friend. “Green there,” said another.

At last, the table looked neat again. Daisy beamed. “We did it together!” she said.

Daisy dipped her brush and painted a bright garden with flowers, leaves, and a smiling sun. The colors looked just right.

“May I borrow the green?” Daisy asked. “Of course,” said Milo. “Thank you!” Daisy replied, as she added the last leafy touches to her garden.

The class hung the paintings on the wall. Daisy looked around and smiled, because asking for help helped her finish her work.
